Administration and Finance oversees and manages the following activities and functions at the University of Northern Iowa:

• The business, procurement, and financial infrastructure of the University
• Facilities design, planning, and space management
• The care and maintenance of the University's facilities, buildings, and grounds
• Intercollegiate Athletics
• The protection of life and property, crime prevention, and law enforcement
• Faculty and staff employment, training and development, compensation and benefits
• Risk management and insurance, property issues (examples: purchases/sales, leases, and easements)
